2002 – Foundation

The company was founded by Peter Schäfer, as Getriebe Schäfer in Ankara. The focus was on the production and processing of finished or pre-machined cast casings, as well as turned and milled parts for machine and plant construction.

2020 – Foundation of ZIMM Group GmbH

C.H. Schäfer Getriebe GmbH, Getriebe Schäfer GmbH and Getriebe Schäfer Ankara Ltd. Sti. go green and are now part of the ZIMM Group.

2021 – Change of name to ZIMM Turkey Ltd. Sti.

ZIMM Turkey Ltd. Sti. is the universal legal successor to Getriebe Schäfer Ankara, assuming all rights and liabilities.
